Strategic Account Director - Eastern Region
Job Summary

TruePoint Solutions is a leading provider of implementation services and support for state and local government agencies providing solutions for permitting, licensing, community development, code enforcement, and asset management. TruePoint has been providing these services to modernize local government since 2004.

The Gray Quarter/TruePoint merger has created a unique crossroads within the GovTech marketplace to capitalize on market share, cross selling from each other’s customer bases, consultative strategic selling, and a relentless drive for results.

The TruePoint Solutions team is looking for a Strategic Account Director for our Eastern US territory.

Responsibilities
  • Execute a strategic selling playbook to simultaneously drive Tier 1 through Tier 4 opportunities focused on Services and Software to achieve quota
  • Display a balance of consultative long-term selling with the drive to achieve quarter quota across levers of comp plan
  • Successfully create and qualify pipeline opportunities in out quarters while advancing short term opportunities to close
  • Collaborate with Director of Sales Strategy and Senior Proposals Manager on RFPs, Sole Source of both net new and existing expansion customers in articulating pursuit approach, win themes, and overall narrative that conveys solving customers’ pain points
  • Collaborate with Senior Operations Manager and Marketing Coordinator to execute a trade show strategy, leverage social media forums to drive awareness, and follow defined CRM process flow
  • Develop geographic account strategy knowing long-term and short-term opportunities at the account level as conveyed in the CRM
  • Leverage sales process flow to efficiently complete sales cycle while achieving necessary go/no go on deal strategy, pursuit approach, and commercial strategy
  • Execute horizontal and vertical penetration strategy across customer base to have multiple contacts at multiple levels
  • Implement proper escalation techniques both internally and externally with business card alignment
  • Work cross functionally to leverage product, managed services, and professional services teams within pre-sales cycle effectively
Requirements
  • 50% travel
  • Public Sector/GovTech experience focused on Services selling
  • 5+ years of similar responsibilities with successful outcome
  • Precise follow-up skills and ability to demonstrate
  • Highly communicative
  • Strong ability to read the room, pivot into win themes, and build narrative around solving customer’s pain points
  • Assertive and professional nature
  • Ability to own mistakes and self-correct. Willingness to conduct formal and informal post-mortems as needed
  • Customer focused, solution-oriented, initiative driven
  • Ability to lead tasks to completion and recap/escalate when necessary
  • Ability to identify when to lead and when to be led
  • Strong written and verbal communication, strong presentation experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • US Citizen, residing in the continental US
