Utility Billing Software Implementation Specialist / Project Manager (Sacramento/Loomis)

TruePoint Solutions is looking for Software Implementation Specialist/Project Manager to implement Utility Billing software solutions for Local Government, Special Districts, and Water Agencies. Relevant Work Experience:
  • 3+ years
  • Experience working with Local Government and/or Utilities.
  • Industry Experience with Utility Billing is required.
  • Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide industry and product knowledge during implementations
  • Prepare and manage implementation schedules
  • Manage customer expectations
  • Document the customer’s current and to be processes
  • Provide end user training and mentoring
  • Work with clients to configure software solutions based on customer requirements
  • Develop and perform quality assurance tests at the system and unit levels
  • Create report specification and data conversion specification documents
  • Manage the project budget and monthly billing
  • Provide go-live and post go-live support
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3 years related experience (Industry experience can offset degree requirements)
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Experience with state and local government municipalities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint and ProjectStrong Problem Solving and Analytical skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Ability to travel required

Business Analyst

  • Builds a partnership with our clients and listens / attends to their needs.
  • Understands the business issues and data challenges of client’s organization and industry.
  • Identifies client organization’s strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement.
  • Creates requirement specifications and business processes diagrams for client specific needs.
  • Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for proposed solutions.
  • Leads testing efforts.
  • Delivers high-quality services to our clients.

SQL Programmer

    TruePoint Solutions is looking for a SQL programmer to work on the implementation team for its flagship products. The primary role will be to develop SQL for the purpose of converting data and writing reports for our Utility Billing system.       Responsibilities
    • Develop SQL scripts for the purpose of data conversion
    • Develop SQL for the purpose of reports
    • Program and debug SQL code
    • Reports to a project manager
    • Present technical solutions to client and internal audiences
    • Developing concepts and strategy in a collaborative environment
    Requirements
    • BS in Computer Science or related experience
    • Must be eligible to work in Loomis California, United States without sponsorship
    • Solid understanding of Relational Databases
    • Strong SQL skills for writing Stored Procedures
    • Strong Report Writing skills in either Crystal or SSRS
    • Familiarity with the entire SDLC
    • Strong analytical problem solving skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Desire to work in a collaborative environment and learn

    Software Configuration/Integration Specialist

    • Builds a partnership with our clients and listens / attends to their needs.
    • Configures software based on requirements identified during business process analysis.
    • Identifies data needs and conversion methodologies for historical data and reference data. conversions, creates conversion mapping documents and assists in the conversion process.
    • Identifies interface needs to external systems, creates interface requirement specifications and assists in creation of interfaces.
    • Writes simple PL SQL and Java Script routines. Provides technical support and consulting to clients as needs arise.
